From 2000 until 2010, I lived and worked in Japan. Japan’s encounter with Christianity from 1549 onwards is a story that needs to be told again. It might come as a surprise to you, but there is more to this beautiful world than America and the various issues that arise from American imperialism. If freedom is universal, then it must resonate in the East, not just the West. Jesus didn’t come to this world to Make America Great Again. He came to set us free, all of us.
