A few weeks ago, I had the honor of attending an inaugural conference, the first Australians for Science and Freedom conference, held in Sydney. It brought together a range of people from all walks of life who have one thing in common – a traumatic and life-changing encounter with Covid Hysteria. Be it the lockdowns, the suspension of human rights, the murky and controversial origins of Covid-19, the draconian legislations of the state, the forced vaccination mandates and Covid-passports, and the socially and psychologically destructive distance and separation requirements, all at the conference were able to share, learn, engage, and reflect upon the last few years of darkness.

Many careers were lost, and lives destroyed. Others shut up, kept their head down, did what they were told, and are now laughing all the way to the bank. For most people, the pandemic was an awful time and there are so many aspects about this period that need to be examined and analyzed. There are many unresolved issues and questions. There is the need for much light to be shone into this area.

Many people, however, have already moved on. They don’t care. They want their minds, lives and activities to be about something else. They are not interested in the light, a murky, confused world is one they will accept, and they have no qualms about accepting darkness. They have a choice, and for them, they choose ignorance.

It is not possible to choose when it comes to the light of the world, the Son of God. This light, this radiance of God shines so brightly in the Bible, and in the lives of those who follow him, that a decision needs to be made. The most important question of Christianity is not the resurrection, but the identity of Jesus. Who is he? Why are Christians always talking about him? Is Jesus the light of the world?

Is Jesus the light of the world? Let us ponder the pronouns of God by exploring the identity of Jesus Christ.

Remember, freedom matters today, because you matter to God.
