Do Jews and Christians Worship the Same God?

The popularity of the Theology of Exemption is the view that Jews can afford to ignore the message of the good news of the Christian faith because they are the elect, the chosen of God, the people predestined by God from all eternity.

This is not the Christian message. No one is exempt from the good news or from the message that through the death of Jesus, God dealt with sin, once for all, for those who were near, the Jewish people, and those who were far away, the Greeks, or Gentiles, those from the nations.

For some reason, Christian Zionists argue that if you are Jewish, then there are special seats in heaven reserved for you, but if you are not Jewish, then you have to come into heaven by the side entrance, with your head bowed out of respect for those whom God loves more than you.

But Jesus came to create a new humanity in himself, by his death on the cross, so that any Christian leader who refuses to put Jesus Christ at the heart of their message, has forfeited their faith, and lost their way.

Do you believe that God sees you the same as he sees other people? After all, we are told by our government that we must hate Russia, and China, and Iran, we must love America, and we must be divided, but this is not the Christian message. All of us are one in Christ and let no one tell you otherwise.
